Prices and terms

Term fees and the ground rules for sign-up, payments, absences and withdrawal. When signing up, the student – or the guardian of a student under 18 – accepts these terms.

Prices · school year 2026–27

Term fees

Weekly lessons run for the whole school year (autumn and spring term). Prices are fees per term (term = half a year, 15 lessons), including 25.5% VAT.

Music playschool

Family discount or discount for a second instrument 10% (off the lower price).

Weekly lessons

Terms

Your sign-up becomes binding only once a lesson time has been agreed and teaching has begun. From then on, the student (or the guardian of a student under 18) commits to paying the fees in the band school's price list for the whole school year.

Sign-up and payments

  • After you sign up, your own teacher will contact you to agree a lesson time.
  • Term fees are sent to the email address you provided.
  • Term fees are invoiced in two instalments: in the autumn term at the end of August and October, and in the spring term at the end of January and March.
  • Payment reminders are sent by email. If a payment is more than four weeks overdue, we will have to suspend teaching.

Absences and withdrawal

  • Sign-up is valid for the whole school year (August–May).
  • Lessons cannot be stopped in the middle of a term (half a year). The student (or guardian) commits to paying the fees for the whole term.
  • Withdrawal after the autumn term must be made in writing no later than 1 December.
  • If the teacher cancels a lesson, they will make it up or arrange a substitute.
  • Lessons missed by the student are not made up.
  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late for a lesson counts as a cancellation.

Summer 2027

Band camp

Price

  • The camp fee is 275 € per camper.
  • The early sign-up price is 255 € if you sign up by 28 February 2027.
  • Lunch and a snack every day are included in the price.

Cancellation terms

  • Please let us know about a cancellation as soon as possible at info@roihupellonbandikoulu.fi, so that we can offer the place to the next person on the waiting list.
  • Cancellation is free of charge up to two weeks before the camp starts. After that, we charge half of the camp fee.
  • If your child falls ill, however, we refund the full camp fee, less a 30 € administration charge, as long as you let us know before the camp starts. We don’t want anyone to come along ill.
  • If the place can be filled from the waiting list, cancellation is always free of charge.
  • We cannot refund camp days that are missed.
  • If the camp has to be cancelled, we refund the full fee.

Summer 2027

Summer courses

Pop singing course and Logic course.

Price

  • The pop singing course is 125 € per participant.
  • The Logic course is 125 € per participant.
  • Duration: pop singing course three evenings and Logic course two evenings, each 6 h in total.
  • The early sign-up price is 110 € if you sign up by 30 April 2027.
  • The course fee is paid before the course starts.

Cancellation terms
